Sooner Competitive Robotics
I've been a member of the Sooner Competitive Robotics team since my freshman year in 2021. When I first started showing up to meetings, SCR's leadership did a fantastic job making me feel included. This feeling is something we try to cultivate year after year, as we bring in new talented members.
Our OU giving day promo is probably our best introduction.
The Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition 2023
You can check out our best run from IGVC 2023 here, where we took the gold and smashed our old record, cutting it down by over 2 minutes!
High School Outreach
Last fall, we packed our IGVC bot into the trunk of a car and hauled it out to Norman High School. There, we presented about engineering education to the class of Mr. Askey (my most remarkable high school physics teacher).
